My first experience at Brit & Chips was memorable! I never was a fan of deep fried fish. I preferred steamed fish – with soya sauce and green onions. However, this mindset was changed when I visited Brit & Chips. The fish was perfectly fried; crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. The oil was not overwhelming either! The fries that are served were perfect as well.
However, my 2nd visit was not as good… The fish was too oily for my taste. The mayo was still great though! I also think I had chosen the wrong fish – it was too soft in texture that it broke apart too easily – hard to eat it with the crust together.
