Epicare review: Better than my first epicare

I received Epicare, a tight string hair removal tool, to review. After a bit more than a month of usage, I can definitely draw a conclusion if I like this one better or my first one that was bought 4 years ago.

Basically, Epicare is a very user friendly and convenient hair removal tool. I simply pull down both ends of the tool to create a U shape. And then, I would put it over to whichever area that has unwanted hair. Afterwards, I twist the ends of the tool in different direction. And voila! Hair pulled out from the string!

It is an inexpensive tool, and that you can easily carry it everywhere. I would use it while watching video as it requires little attention. Quick and easy! A much preferred solution over plucking the hair one by one. At first, there may be tears. I won’t lie. It can be a bit painful. But it’s nothing different than your first experience with epilator or wax. Being a girl is never easy!

How does this new Epicare I received compare to my 4 years old Epicare? For one, the new Epicare’s strings are tighter, hence grabs the hair more easily. Second, it comes in many colors! Not that it matters much in functionality. But hey, why not?

One drawback is that there is quite a difference in the price between the new and the old. The one I received can be bought at www.nailpolishcanada.com for 15$ (Canada) or at www.epicarehome.com(USA). While the one I used for 4 years, it can be easily bought for 1$ on ebay.

Here is a side by side comparison between the new (top) and the one (bottom).

Bottom line is, if I want efficiency and neat spot removal, I would go for the new epicare. If I don’t mind to go roll over the same spot a few times to get those hair and save a few dollars, I would go for the “old” epicare.

Epicare is like a bulldozer to the unwanted moustache!
