Review: Origins A Perfect World SPF 25 Age-defense moisturizer with White Tea

I’ve used Origins A Perfect World SPF 25 Age-defense moisturizer with White Tea (Omg, why such a long name) for this summer. My fondness for this moisturizer grew day by day!

Pro:
– SPF 25: Perfect for summer when you are not staying outside more than an hour.
– Kept my skin moisturized all day long (I tend to have dry skin)
– Tea fragrance (may be a downside for some)
– A little goes a long way

Con:
– Feels greasy on the touch but will eventually set nicely on the skin
– Broke me out when I don’t cleanse well enough. When I used the right product to cleanse, no breakout!

Overall thought:
Nice to have it, but isn’t a must have. If you have a good moisturizer already, no need to purchase this one.

Hey! Are you still using your clarisonic?? Do you recommend it? I suddenly have so many pimples and acne to deal with! Arg! And the reviews for it are all so good… Except a few… So…. I don’t know if I should splurge on it… :/

To be honest, there was a point where I stopped using clarisonic because I didn’t see any improvement, and i think it was too abrasive for my skin as cleansing tool. Currently, I use it once a week. I think i can remove it from my routine and there wouldn’t even be any difference. Before splurging in one, I suggest the following. Purchase Clinique Take a day off cleansing balm and Hydraluron. Clinique cleansing balm is super good. It even removes the toughest make up very well too. I love this cleansing balm because it is scent free and very leaves the skin baby smooth after a wash. Make sure you don’t splash water on your face before cleansing. Use it on a dry face. And then wash it off with warm water, and then have a cloth to dry your face. Hydraluron is a super cheap alternative of super expensive serum. Actually Hydraluron beats any serum I have used. It is very affordable and can be purchased in Pharmaprix. It keeps your skin very moisturized. Apply it day and night after you cleanse with the clinique. After, put any brand of moisturiser! I hope these can help you! Because it did to me, everytime, I’ve been using this for 3 weeks now and everytime a pimple wants to foam after a long day, I just use these products at night, and the next morning, the pimple disappears!

Clarisonic is really expensive…and I thought it would be a miracle tool. But I think it’s more suitable for skins that are tough, and super greasy…while my skin is usually dry, and only have pimples due to dryness and stress.
